The Riptide

public - created 01/31/05
Built in 1941 and labeled as San Francisco's Tahoe by the Sea, The Riptide has the look and feel of a small town lodge. In addition to rustic brick flooring and high ceilings, original knotty pine walls and a raging fireplace add warmth customers can feel as soon as they step inside.

The Riptide opens daily at 4 P.M. If you're looking for a casual atmosphere
and a conversation or two with the local neighbors, stop by for Happy Hour from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. featuring honest drink specials.

At night, you might come across live bluegrass, jazz, blues, or country music. Or, if you like to dance, DJs spin soul, old school, punk, metal, and ska.. Check the calendar for events or just wander in anytime.

The Riptide is only 15 minutes from the heart of San Francisco. It's one block away from the Pacific Ocean, close to public transportation and has plenty of free parking.
